Utah to Oregon

It's amazing to me the difference a few hours in a car can do to the scenery outside! We went from the oranges and reds of the desert to the lush greens of the Pacific Northwest in just hours.

From Arches National Park to Shalie Falls and who can doubt that Heavenly Father had a good day when he designed and made Utah and Oregon!

I totally agree! I think that Oregon is the prettiest state in the country. It has desert, and forest, and dunes, and beaches, and mountains..... Everything you could want!

Ah...one of my favorite spots in any road anywhere (probably second only to the River Road along the Mississippi outside of Alton). That particular hill there on Highway 20 in the McKenzie pass is very fast. One can easily get up to very high speeds...hehe. Needless to say, I never attained those speeds with Bethany in the car! It is also great to take in the waterfalls that are very near the headwaters of the McKenzie River. Beautiful stretch of land...and very near Camp Melakwa!
