Karen's husband drives the MAX and she was the SOMEONE...HA!
After Friday night's session, we wanted to get some food and SOMEONE said, lets go the Cinco de Mayo celebration downtown on the waterfront. . . on the MAX. . .are we sure??? Is it safe? Will we get mugged ? Only bring cash in your pocket and some ID. Are we SURE this will be fun? We were assured it was by the SOMEONE and so we boarded the MAX and were off on our adventure. Madi remembers riding the MAX to a concert at the Rose Garden, Im sure, and this was almost as much fun! We got off in the downtown area and walked to the festival and had real mexician food and enjoyed the music and were thankful for ALL the police that we saw. . .tons of officiers were about. . walking and on bikes and even on horseback! It made us feel safe and we enjoyed our outing all the more. Luell asked where my camera was, but I told her i was unsure about bringing it, cuz it was dark and i thought that running could be involved. . so I got shots of the MAX but none of us there. . .sorry We arrived back at the hotel safe and full of beans and chatted and laughed more till after midnight. . . we should have went to sleep, cuz we had to get up at 500am for the next day's fun.

Holy Cow! 5:00 am? No wonder you had such great seats! Wasn't it Totally Awesome? Steph and I had so much fun. Bethany & Madi have to come with next time. It was such a wonderful experience.
