The Mound City..

This shows the wall around the exsisting mounds. Each mound has the remains of one of more cremated Hopewell Indians.

When we did Jacob's history lesson today, we talked about pre-history, and what it meant. It's what happened before there were written records. I was able to related to him pre-history with what we did at Mound City. Pretty neat, eh?
Thats the payoff for field trips!
