It was kinda cool sitting in the doorway in the dining room and watching the fireworks up the river! It was a whole lot less work than in past years! Steven watched for a few and then went to watch the rest from his bed!!
Ya gotta love these shots of the fireworks with the old washer and dryer adding that special touch of class to my pics!!! HA. I cant wait for the "haul away the trash" part of this make over!

We waited to watch them last night at home, and then realized that they were doing them somewhere else in town, so the tiny ones we saw in passing in the distance were the ones we were supposed to be watching. Oops. Oh well.
Our house sounded like a war zone last night with the amount of fireworks being shot off. The city view from our hill was sprinkled with fireworks from across Joliet and Rockford. The neighbors to the Left were shooting them off. The city to the Right was having a huge fireworks thing, but there were trees in the way (very loud and long though). And the neighbors up the hill were having a grand time. Big one, almost over our head. Kinda cool. Lots of noise.
they are going to use them or store them, but dad has to take them out, and he's been a little busy :)
Can you even imagine being in a war that produced that kind of action? those poor poor soldiers. . .im glad that there are people willingly to do that for me...cuz i wonder if i could do that. .
