FHE

Taylor's hair is getting WAY TOO long. . So I always am wrapping it up and around. . . and below is her newest wound. . aquired at Grandma Dee's. . she got hit in the head with a flashlight by an older cousin while they were playing in the dark. She is one tough kid!

Taylor got to come and spend a couple of hours with us last night. We went to McD's for dinner, Grandma Ida came with, and later we read stories and looked at pics from Steven and my trip to Madi and Joe's. We had a very nice visit.

9/11 Rememberance

Today we're all heard lots about the 6th year anniversery of Sept. 11. It hardly seems possible that its been that long since I went to pick up Madi from semiary and we stood in the church parking lot and pondered what it would mean to our lives. Today we're still living our lives, with a little more security and apprehension than before, but we still have that life to live. I want to thank the soldiers who have fought for this country and its way of life. I want to thank the families of those soldiers for letting them make it a free place to live. And I want to especially thank those who have lost loved ones in the last 6 years defending our freedom, may your lives be blessed for those sacrifices.
